20-year-old student from Andhra Pradesh found dead in car in US forest
In a tragic incident, a young student from Guntur district was found dead in the United States. The victim was identified as Paruchuri Abhijit (20).
The miscreants, who are yet to be identified, left Abhijit’s body inside a car within a forest.
Speculations over motive behind murder
Abhijit, the only son of Paruchuri Chakradhar and Srilakshmi, had been known for his academic prowess since childhood. Despite initial reluctance from his mother to pursue higher studies abroad, she eventually consented, considering her son’s future prospects, reported Times Of India quoting the victim’s family members.
Abhijit secured admission to Boston University for engineering studies. Authorities suspect that the assailants may have targeted him for money and his laptop. However, the circumstances surrounding Abhijit’s murder on campus have raised several suspicions. It is speculated that he may have been involved in a dispute with other students at the university.
Following the necessary procedures in the United States, Abhijit’s body was repatriated to Burripalem in Guntur district.
