2024 Bajaj Chetak New Model Released in India: Price Begins at Rs 96k

To attract new customers, top two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj has launched a new range of e-scooter named 2901. It has been launched at a competitive price of Rs 95,998 (ex-showroom Bangalore), giving it a tough competition. to its competitor in the segment.

It can be purchased in 5 color options – White, Red, Lime Yellow, Black and Azure Blue. The latest offering now joins the company’s existing lineup Chetak Urban and Chetak Premium. Interested customers can pre-book the vehicle by visiting Bajaj’s 500 showrooms across the country.

Overall design
The newly launched Bajaj Chetak 2901 comes with the same appeal as the rest of its range, with impressive stance and decent road looks. However, the company has tried to make it quite modern by giving it a retro look. It gets a circular headlight setup, LED treatment at both ends and attractive alloy wheels.

Top highlights
To give passengers a comfortable riding experience, it gets a single seating arrangement, and offers Bluetooth-enabled full LCD instruments. It allows the rider to monitor all important information like battery capacity, range, speed, current riding modes etc.

Battery and range
At the heart, the Bajaj Chetak 2901 uses a 2.9kWh battery pack, which offers an impressive ARAI-certified range of 123km on a single charge. Notably, the rear range is likely to drop between 90-100km depending on the riding quality.

Top speed
The e-scooter also has a powerful 4kw electric motor, and is capable of achieving a top speed of 63kmph. The company claims that the battery-powered vehicle can be fully charged in six hours. It does not support fast charging options.
