2024 Force Gurkha Unveiled in India: Deliveries Set to Commence Next Month
Force Motor has finally revealed the much-awaited 5-door Gurkha in India. The off-roader is slated to launch in May 2024. Interested customers can pre-book the vehicle from the official showroom or online through the official website. The model is offered in multiple color options. Those interested can purchase from green, red, white and black.

The newly launched 5-door Gurkha comes with a host of enhancements, superior safety and a long list of advanced features. With the addition of 5 doors, the vehicle now features a larger size and improved road appearance, making it bolder and better compared to the 3-door. Talking about the overall size, the model gets bigger dimensions and offers a wheelbase of 2,825mm. It stands at 2,296 mm (with roof carrier) and 2,095 mm without roof carrier.
Top enhancements
In addition, the turning radius has also been improved, extending it to 6.3 metres, offering better manoeuvrability. The overall weight of the vehicle has also been increased. It is now 3,125 kg heavier, giving customers more rugged capabilities. It is reported that the four-wheeler is capable of accommodating seven passengers on board, and will offer a smooth driving experience on any terrain.

The company has retained its iconic design on the exterior, with round-shaped LED headlights, paired with side indicators, placed right across the setup and chrome-finished Gurkha badging on the front grill. The vehicle is loaded with heavy cladding on the side, making it more aggressive in the segment. It now rides on redesigned 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
Internal
On the inside, the 5-door Gurkha is equipped with a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, supported by all wireless Car Connect technologies including Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Engine and Power
Under the hood, it is powered by a Mercedes-sourced 2.6-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine, which generates a maximum of 138 bhp and 320 Nm of torque. The unit is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. It is available with a full 4×4 drivetrain as standard.
