Upcoming Sedan Cars In India in 2024
- New Maruti DZire
- Hyundai Verna N Line
- New Honda Amaze
- Citroen C3X
New Maruti DZire
The new-generation Dzire was recently spotted testing in India. Although the overall design appears to be the same as the outgoing model, the new sedan will share some design cues with the new-generation Swift, such as a redesigned front grille, updated headlamp and taillamp designs, and new bumpers.
The new Maruti Suzuki Dzire is expected to make its debut in mid-2024 and will be based on the new-gen hatchback’s underpinnings. It is expected to be powered by the same 1.2-liter three-pot mild-hybrid petrol engine as the upcoming Swift, mated to a 5-speed manual and CVT transmissions.
Hyundai Verna N Line
The latest generation of the Hyundai Verna debuted in March of last year, and it has since become one of the most performance-centric cars in its segment. The new-gen Verna’s tGDi petrol engine produces 158 bhp and 253 Nm, and it does a bang-up job in terms of performance. However, it needs more from the steering and suspension set-up.
New Honda Amaze
The next generation of the Honda Amaze is expected to be launched by the end of 2024. The new-generation Amaze will be built on the upgraded version of the current PF2 platform. In India, the familiar 90 bhp i-VTEC petrol engine will continue to power the new Amaze.
Citroen C3X
Citroen plans to launch a new coupe sedan in India, called Citroen C3X. It’s been spied testing a couple of times on the Indian roads, and will share some of the C3 Aircross’ components. The styling on this car will be a sizeable departure from that of the hatchback.
