New Maruti Swift CNG Launched with 33 km Mileage: Check the Affordable Price

Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest car manufacturer, has expanded its popular Swift hatchback lineup with the introduction of a CNG variant. Until now, the Swift was only available with a petrol engine. Let’s explore what makes the new Swift CNG special and its pricing details.

Engine and Mileage

The Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG is powered by the Z-series Dual VVT engine, which has been slightly modified from its petrol counterpart. This 1.2-liter engine delivers 69.75 PS of power and 101.8 Nm of torque when running on CNG. It comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox, the same engine that powers the petrol version of the Swift. The engine is designed to offer reliable performance across various driving conditions.

Pricing and Features

The new Swift CNG is available in three variants: VXi, VXi (O), and ZXi. Prices for the Swift CNG start at ₹8.19 lakh. The car measures 3860 mm in length, 1520 mm in height, and 1735 mm in width. The CNG variant retains all the features available in the petrol model, including:

Safety Features: Six airbags, three-point seat belts, hill hold control, ESC, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with EBD.

Interior Features: All-new black interior targeting the youth, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 60:40 split seats, rear AC vents, wireless charger, automatic climate control, and Suzuki Connect.

Despite the added CNG tank, which affects boot space, the Swift CNG remains spacious enough to comfortably accommodate five passengers.
