The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam is considered one of the toughest in the country. Every year, lakhs of candidates appear with the dream of becoming IAS, IPS, IFS, or IRS officers. However, only a few succeed in clearing the exam. Those who do are given training before being posted to their respective cadre states.
Today we will discuss about IPS officer Ankita Sharma who cracked the UPSC examination in 2018 with AIR 203 in her third attempt. 
Ankita Sharma, a native of Durg, Chhattisgarh, completed her graduation before pursuing a management program in her hometown. She then moved to Delhi to prepare for the UPSC but later returned to Durg and chose to prepare independently.
She worked hard with full devotion. Though her journey to the UPSC was not smooth, she finally cracked the exam on her third attempt, securing an AIR rank of 203. She went on to become an IPS officer. Currently, she is posted as SP, Sakti district. Ankita had played a crucial role in supervising several anti-naxalite operations. 
Ankita’s father’s name is Rakesh Sharma who is a businessman and her mother’s name is Savita Sharma, a homemaker. Ankita got married to Army officer Vivekanand Shukla. Ankita is active on social media. She has over 852 k followers on Instagram.
