BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis will take oath as chief minister of Maharashtra on December 5 at Azad Maidan in Mumbai. The swearing ceremony will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The BJP leader divulged movable and immovable assets worth Rs 13.27 crore in his affidavit in October 2024 ahead of Maharashtra assembly polls.
Fadnavis reported that his total income in 2023-24 was 79.3 lakh which is a decrease in comparison to 2022-23 where his total income was Rs 92.48 lakh.
As per poll affidavit, the former Maharashtra chief minister has moveable assets of Rs 56.07 lakh, Rs 6.96 crore in his wif Amruta’s name and Rs 10.22 lakh in his daughter’s name. He has Rs 23,500 in cash in his hand while his wife has Rs 10000 cash in hand.
Fadnavis has no investment in bonds, debentures, mutual funds but he has invested Rs 22.07 lakh in NSS, postal savings and insurance policies. Fadnavis’ wife Amryta has invested Rs 5.62 crore in bonds, debentures and mutual funds, according to the poll affidavit.
The deputy CM has immovable assets of Rs 4.69 crore as he has owned agricultural land in Chandrapur, a residential building in Dharampeth in Nagpur and Rs 95.29 lakh in the name of his wife. Fadnavis has no bank loan while his wife owes Rs 62 lakh as bank loan.
Fadnavis reported that he has 450 grams of gold ornaments worth Rs 32.85 lakh while his wife has 900 grams of gold worth Rs 65.7 lakh.
