New Delhi: Arjun Tendulkar, son of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, is not having a good time. Arjun is being dropped from Goa’s playing 11 due to his disappointing performance in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. The left-arm fast bowler was dropped from the playing XI against Kerala and Maharashtra.
This is no less than a big shock for Arjun Tendulkar, who was bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs 30 lakh in the recently concluded IPL 2025 mega auction. Let us remind you that Arjun was not bought by any franchise in the first round. Mumbai Indians bought him for the second time and saved him from being unsold.

Had to pay the price for a bad start:
Arjun Tendulkar did get a chance at the beginning of the tournament, but his performance was poor. Against Mumbai, Tendulkar conceded 48 runs in 4 overs and did not take any wickets. He could contribute only 9 runs in batting. Goa had to face a huge defeat at the hands of Mumbai.
After this, Tendulkar was again given a chance in the second match, where a slight improvement was seen in his performance. The left-arm fast bowler conceded 19 runs in 3 overs, but once again could not take a wicket. After this, in the third match against Andhra Pradesh, Tendulkar conceded 36 runs in a bowling spell of 3.4 overs.
