New Delhi: Arjun Tendulkar, son of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, is not having a good time. Arjun is being dropped from Goa’s playing 11 due to his disappointing performance in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. The left-arm fast bowler was dropped from the playing XI against Kerala and Maharashtra.
This is no less than a big shock for Arjun Tendulkar, who was bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs 30 lakh in the recently concluded IPL 2025 mega auction. Arjun Tendulkar did get a chance at the beginning of the tournament, but his performance was poor. Against Mumbai, Tendulkar conceded 48 runs in 4 overs and did not take any wickets. He could contribute only 9 runs in batting. Goa had to face a huge defeat at the hands of Mumbai.
After this, Tendulkar was again given a chance in the second match, where a slight improvement was seen in his performance. The left-arm fast bowler conceded 19 runs in 3 overs, but once again could not take a wicket.
