Vida V1 Plus Electric Scooter Relaunched With Price Tag Rs 30,000 Less Than V1 Pro; Should You Buy It?
Vida Electric, a known electric two-wheeler brand in India has announced the re-introduction of its V1 Plus electric scooter in the country.
The Vida V1 Plus has been positioned as the brand’s lower-spec model and has been launched at Rs 1.15 lakh, however, it is available at a price of Rs 97,800 (ex-showroom) after subsidies. On the other hand, the top-spec Vida V1 Pro is priced at Rs 1.26 lakh (ex-showroom) after subsidies.
Vida V1 Plus – Battery, Range & Performance
Talking about the battery specs of the Vida V1 Plus, it is equipped with two removable 1.72 kWh battery packs. These battery packs help the V1 Plus in delivering a real-world range of 100 km. The Vida V1 Plus is capable of achieving a top speed of 80 km/h and boasts an acceleration of 0-40 km/h in 3.4 seconds. On the other hand, the Vida V1 Pro boasts a claimed range of 110 km and is equipped with a total battery capacity of 3.94 kWh. The V1 Pro can accelerate from 0-40 kmph in just 3.2 seconds.
The motor equipped in the V1 Plus delivers a peak output of 6 kW and a torque output of 25 Nm. The portable charger takes 5 hours and 15 minutes to fully charge the battery packs. Vida Electric provides a 5-year or 50,000 km vehicle warranty, along with a 3-year and 30,000 km warranty for the battery. The V1 Plus offers three riding modes: Eco, Ride, and Sport.
