Bharti Airtel, a prominent player in India’s telecom sector, on Tuesday has unveiled a significant expansion initiative in Ernakulam and Idukki districts.

The company intends to improve phone and data connectivity for its customers in 60 towns and 266 villages across the two districts by deploying more stations.
Airtel’s shares saw a 3% surge to Rs 1158.90 on the BSE, while on the NSE, the stocks climbed 2.5% to Rs 1162. This uptrend indicates positive investor sentiment towards the telecommunications giant, reflecting confidence in its performance and future prospects in the market.

The network enhancement project targets specific tehsils such as Aluva, Kanayannur, Kochi, Kothamangalam, and others, directly impacting the lives of residents.
