We’ve been tracking Vivo’s V30 series launch for the past few weeks. Vivo has just unveiled the V30 and the V30 Pro. We checked out the V30 and it comes with quite a few features that set it apart in the sub Rs 40,000 segment.
We think this device deserves to be on your radar if you’re looking for a stylish smartphone with a dependable camera under Rs 40,000. These are some of the key features that made a big impression during our time with the device:
Vivo V30 First Impressions device has the rear camera module with clean lines and rounded corners.
Sleek design: It’s distinct and looks premium. The V30 is not just a good-looking device but it feels great in your hand thanks to a thoughtful design and excellent weight distribution. The device weighs 186 gm. Vivo has launched the device in three shades including two India-inspired colours – Andaman Blue and Peacock Green, that are likely to catch your attention. There’s the rear camera module with clean lines and rounded corners.
Vibrant display: The V30 flaunts a gorgeous 6.78-inch AMOLED (2,800 x 1,260 pixels) display with a 120Hz refresh rate that peaks at 2800 nits. It holds its own in this segment.
Dual 50MP rear cam with a 50MP selfie shooter: It’s 50MP cams all around. The V30 benefits from Vivo’s True Colour Camera-Bionic-Spectrum VCS tech that delivers vibrant images. Portrait images get a boost from Vivo’s proprietary Aura light, a mini-ring light.
Robust battery: The vibrant display is backed by a massive 5000 mAh battery that works for most users. There’s an 80W fast charger in the box.
Hardware highlights: It may not be aimed at hardcore gamers but there’s enough firepower for most everyday users. At its heart is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. The V30 is available in three variants – 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB and the top-end 12GB/256GB version.
