Filmmaker Luv Ranjan announces ‘De De Pyaar De 2’ with Ajay Devgn
After the success of ‘De De Pyaar De’, Ajay Devgn is all set to return in the sequel. Directed by Luv Ranjan, the announcement of ‘De De Pyaar De 2’ was announced on March 13. While Rakul Preet Singh and Tabu played the female leads in the first part, it is now left to see who reprises the role/roles in the sequel.
The sequel to 2019 film, ‘De De Pyaar De’, has been announced. ‘De De Pyaar De 2′ will release on May 1, 2025, which doubles as a long weekend (Maharashtra Day and International Labour Day). The film shoot starts from June 2024. The film will be directed by Anshul Sharma, produced by T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Luv Films’ Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg.

Meanwhile, ‘De De Pyaar De’ started on a dull note in 2019, but eventually picked pace. The film earned a total sum of Rs 103.64 crore in the Hindi belt.
As for Ajay Devgn, the actor will headline the project. He was last seen in ‘Shaitaan’, which opened to mixed reviews but is doing well at the box office. He will be next seen in ‘Maidaan’, which clashes with Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ at the box office.
