CBSE Board Exam 2024 Question Paper Review: Check Class 12th Biology Paper Analysis

CBSE Class 12 Biology Paper Review: The Central Board of Secondary Education concluded the CBSE Class 12 Biology paper today, March 19, 2024. The board conducted the biology paper, which was scheduled from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The Class 12 Biology exam was of moderate difficulty level.

Shalini Almadi, Senior Coordinator Biology, Vidyagyan School, stated, ” All questions adhered to the prescribed syllabus and pattern outlined by the CBSE. Several questions demanded critical thinking and application of concepts, indicating the necessity for thorough understanding. Students who had thoroughly revised their syllabus found the paper to be manageable.”

“However, questions related to case studies were ambiguous, leading to confusion among students. Additionally, certain descriptive questions were lengthy, requiring more time for comprehension and response. Despite these challenges, the paper maintained a balanced approach, encompassing various aspects of the subject matter,” further added.

Ruchi Krishnatry, PGT Biology and Middle School Coordinator, Manav Rachna International School, Faridabad, stated, ” Biology 2024 CBSE paper was moderately challenging for average students but who could handle the Section-A will get good grades. A few MCQ’s ( Section A) were bit tricky & time consuming as questions were to test analytical skills. Assertion-Reason (Section A) were in-text NCERT based. Case-based questions (Section D) were to analyse and evaluate the text. However Section E (5 markers) was NCERT based. Section C & D questions (2 and 3 markers) were balanced.”

“The paper was strictly as per the Syllabus with a mix of questions based on application & problem solving. Overall the Biology paper was balanced and gave students a fair chance to demonstrate their knowledge and problem solving skills,” further added.
