Registration for CTET July is ending today, know what documents and fees will be required.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will close the registration process for the July session of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET 2024) today i.e. on April 2. Candidates who have not been able to register yet for any reason will have to submit CTET Application Form 2024 through the official website ctet.nic.in. Let us tell you that the CTET July 2024 exam will be conducted on July 7 in 20 languages in 136 cities across the country.
The exam will be held in different shifts
CTET Exam 2024 will be conducted in different shifts for two papers – Paper 2 in the morning shift from 9.30 am to 12 noon and Paper 1 in the afternoon shift from 2 pm to 4.30 pm. CTET Paper 1 is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates to become teachers for classes 1 to 5 and Paper 2 is conducted for candidates who intend to become teachers for classes 6 to 8.
Application fees
Candidates belonging to General and OBC (NCL) will have to pay Rs 1,000 as an application fee and an additional Rs 200 if appearing in both papers. Whereas SC, ST, and disabled persons will have to pay Rs 500 for one paper and Rs 600 for appearing in both papers.
Applicants are also required to select four different examination centers in the order of preference and nearest to their residential address. The notice read, “Candidate details cannot be changed/edited after deposit of examination fee. However, facility for correction in details (except city of examination) can be made available on the portal during the specified period which will be notified on the CTET website.”
CTET 2024: Rules for uploading documents
Candidates will have to upload scanned copies of the required documents while filling out the application form.
Scanned photo – 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height) in JPG/JPEG format with a file size between 10 to 100 KB
Image of scanned signature – 3.5 cm (length) x 1.5 cm (height). Which should be in JPG/JPEG format with a file size between 3 to 30 KB.
