Lok Sabha elections: Congress released an election manifesto, promised 25 guarantees, and talked about giving one lakh rupees every year to poor girls.
Congress has released its election manifesto for the Lok Sabha elections to be held in the country.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, CPP Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, former President Rahul Gandhi, Manifesto Committee Chairman P Chidambaram and Congress General Secretary (Organisation) KC Venugopal launched the Congress’ manifesto for Lok Sabha elections, 2024.
Through this, Congress has made many big promises to the people of the country. In the manifesto, Congress has promised 10 justice and 25 guarantees to the countrymen. The party has announced to provide annual assistance of Rs 1 lakh to poor girls. Congress said that if the government is formed, up to 50 per cent reservation will be made for women in central government jobs.
It is noteworthy that this time also Lok Sabha elections will be held in seven phases in the country. Voting for the first phase will be held on April 19 and voting for the last phase will be held on June 1. Election results will come on June 4.
