JEE Main 2024 session 2: Exams starting from April 4, know what you can take with you
National Testing Agency (NTA) is starting Joint Entrance Exam Main (JEE Main 2024) Session 2 from tomorrow i.e. 4th April. Please note that this Computer Based Examination (CBT) will be conducted at various examination centers across the country and 22 examination centers abroad. Candidates must carry a JEE Main Admit Card 2024 and a valid photo ID to the examination center during the exam.
The exam will be held in two shifts
Let us inform you that JEE Main exam session 2 will be conducted in two shifts – the morning session will start at 9 am and end at noon and the evening exam will start at 3 pm and end at 6 pm. The examination will be conducted for 3 hours duration, however, additional 30 minutes will be given for JEE Main Paper 2 B.Arch, B.Planning examination to be conducted in the first shift on April 12.
NTA directed the candidates to download JEE Main Hall Ticket 2024 only from the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in. They must also ensure that the barcode is available on the admit card while downloading. Additionally, those who have not registered for the second session using DigiLocker ID or ABC ID will have to reach the examination center one hour before the commencement of the examination for verification.
JEE Main 2024 Session 2: What can you take with you?
- NTA has instructed the candidates to carry only these items to the examination centers.
- Carry a JEE admit card along with valid photo ID proof issued by the government.
- The printout of the duly filled self-declaration form downloaded from the official website of NTA should also be submitted on the day of the entrance exam.
- Students can carry any one of these ID proofs for verification – School ID Card, PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, or Aadhaar Card.
- Additional photographs will have to be pasted on the attendance sheet.
- Carry a PwD certificate, if applicable.
- Carry a blue or black ball pen and a transparent bottle.
- Candidates will be given a scribble pad for calculations. Hand over the pad to the invigilator before leaving the examination hall.
- If the candidate is diabetic then he can take sugar pills or fruits like bananas, apple, oranges.
