Eid-ul-Fitr 2024: UAE releases Namaz timings for Eid ul Fitr, also announces free parking

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced the timing of Namaz for Eid-ul-Fitr 2024. There this information was given by the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowment on the social media platform X. On Wednesday (April 10, 2024) at 6.22 am in Abu Dhabi, 6.20 am in Dubai, 6.17 am in Sharjah and Ajman, 6.15 am in Ras Al Khaimah, 6.15 am in Fujairah Namaz will be held at 6.14 am and in Umm Al Quwain at 6.13 am. Whereas Namaz time in Al Ain will be 6.15 am and in Zayed City, it will be 6.26 am.

Meanwhile, parking was made free in some cities of UAE. Transport authorities in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah announced free parking during the Eid holiday. Along with this, he has also asked to adjust public transport timings during public holidays. Free parking in Dubai will be available from Ramadan 29 to Shawwal 3, while paid parking will continue on Shawwal.

What will be the timing of the metro and tram service in Dubai? 

Dubai’s public transport will also adjust the timings of services during Eid celebrations. Talking about Metro Rail, it will run from 5 am to 1 am between April 8 and April 13 and from 8 am to 12 midnight on April 14. The tram service will continue from 6 am to 1 am from Monday to Saturday, while the next day on Sunday it will run from 9 am to 1 am. This is the update related to transport service in Abu Dhabi-Sharjah

In Abu Dhabi, free parking and toll-free travel will be available at the Darb Toll Gate System from April 8 to April 14. However, during this period, public bus service will run as per the regular weekend schedule. Abu Dhabi Express and Abu Dhabi Link buses will also run longer than scheduled.

Public parking will be free in Sharjah on the first, second and third day of Eid Ul Fitr. However, you will have to pay a fee for parking in parking zones marked with blue signboards. Public parking will be free in Ajman during the Eid holidays. Abra’s timing will be from 8 am to 12 noon, while on-demand bus service will also be available from 6 am to midnight. Also, know the bus timings going from Ras Al Khaimah 

An intercity bus from Ras Al Khaimah to Ajman (via Umm Al Quwain) will run every half hour. This service will be available from 6 am to 7:30 pm, while the bus from Ajman will be available every half hour from 7:30 am to 9:30 pm. Buses from Ras Al Khaimah to Abu Dhabi will be available at 9 am, 12 noon and 3 pm.
