Now the District Election Officer has taken a big step to ensure 100 percent voting in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The District Election Officer has declared polling day as a public holiday. Deputy District Election Officer Neelima Takshak has given this information. He said that in compliance with the order issued by the General Administration Department on March 22, 2024, there will be a public holiday on the polling day.

The District Election Officer said that the heads of departments of various departments, undertakings, boards corporations etc. will also be authorized to grant paid leave on the voting date to the employees when they apply for voting.

Employees of private establishments will also get leave

According to the order issued by the Labor Department on March 19, 2024, paid leave on voting day will be given to workers working in private or public establishments, shops, industrial undertakings or businesses located in the entire assembly constituency of the district.

There will be a holiday in these areas of Jaipur seats on April 19.

Deputy District Election Officer Neelima Takshak informed in this regard that on April 19, 2024, Kishanpole, Adarsh ​​Nagar, Malviya Nagar, Sanganer, Hawamahal, Vidyadhar Nagar, Civil Line included in Jaipur Lok Sabha constituency. There will be a mass holiday in Bagru assembly constituencies.

At the same time, a public holiday has been declared in Kotputli, Viratnagar, Shahpura, Phulera, Jhotwara, and Amer Jamvaramgarh assembly constituencies including in Jaipur Rural Lok Sabha constituency.
