Punjab Board 10th Result 2024 Declared: The wait of more than 2 lakh students who appeared in the Punjab Board 10th examination is over today. The results of the matriculation board examination have been declared. The high school examination was conducted across the state from 13 February to 6 March.
Punjab School Education Board has declared the 10th result today, 18th April. A total of 97.24 percent of students have passed matriculation. The results were announced through a press conference. The link to check the result will be activated tomorrow, April 19, on the official website of Punjab Board, pseb.ac.in. After that students can check the result through their roll number.
More than 2 lakh 97 thousand students appeared in the Punjab Board Matriculation Examination and the examination was conducted at more than 3800 centers across the state. The exam started on 13th February and continued till 6th March. Students who fail in one or two subjects will be given a chance to appear in the compartment examination.

This time 186908 students from government schools took the examination, out of which 181908 passed. The overall pass percentage of government schools has been recorded at 97.32 percent. A total of 73896 students from private schools had taken the exam, out of which a total of 72423 passed and the overall pass percentage was 98.01 percent. Similarly, a total of 20294 boys and girls from aided schools took the examination, out of which a total of 19017 passed and the pass percentage was recorded at 93.71 percent.
What was the result of urban and rural areas?
This year the result of the urban area has been recorded at 96.60 percent and that of the rural area has been recorded at 97.58 percent. A total of 94270 students in urban areas and 179078 students in rural areas have passed the Punjab Board Matriculation examination. Students who fail in one or two subjects will be given a chance to appear in the compartment examination by PSEB. Those students who are not satisfied with their marks obtained. They can apply for re-checking of their answer sheets. Its board will soon release the registration schedule.
