There is good news for UP Board students. The state government is going to release a question bank for the students of classes 9th and 10th, with this the students can easily get selected in NEET and JEE Main.

There is good news for the students of classes 9 and 10 studying in more than 27 thousand schools affiliated with Uttar Pradesh Board. For the first time, UP Basic Education Department has made Exemplar (Question Bank) for more than 25 lakh students for the preparation of competitive exams like engineering, medicine etc. National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), New Delhi, along with the State Institute of Science Education and subject experts from universities, colleges, and secondary schools have jointly prepared question banks for Science and Maths. Let us tell you that the responsibility of this was handed over to the State Institute of Science Education Elanganj by Vijay Kiran Anand, former State Project Director of Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan.

Students will be able to understand and solve the questions on their own

Giving information, Science Coordinator Manjusha Gupta said that 12 and 13 lessons have been included in the science question bank of classes 9 and 10 respectively. Each lesson has a combination of about 70 questions including various multiple choice, very short, short, and long answer questions considering cognitive, cognitive, research, and skills. Thus, there is a collection of about 840 questions in class 9 and about 910 questions in class 10. All the questions in the question bank will explain the concepts of science to the students and the students will be able to understand and solve them on their own.

Sample questions to generate interest in Maths

According to Mathematics Coordinator Arvind Kumar Gautam, Math Question Bank has a collection of 12 and 14 lessons in classes 9 and 10 respectively. There is a combination of about 912 questions in class 9 and 1064 questions in class 10. Sample questions have also been given at the beginning of each type of question to generate interest in solving the questions among the students. At present, question banks based on NCERT have been prepared and sent to SCERT. It is expected that soon it will be available for the convenience of students. At present, only question banks of private publishers are available in the market.
