UPSC CSE Free Coaching: 31 candidates who prepared for UPSC from the Free Residential Coaching Academy of Jamia Millia Islamia have become IAS-IPS this year also. Like Jamia, free coaching of UPSC is being run in central universities of the country like Banaras Hindu University and Allahabad University. Free coaching at UPSC can be done by taking admission.
Apart from Jamia, free coaching of UPSC in other central universities of the country is an initiative of the Dr. Ambedkar Foundation and the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. Which started in 2022. Under this, coaching for UPSC and State Civil Services Examination is provided to SC and OBC category candidates.
Eligibility for UPSC free coaching
Under the Dr. Ambedkar Center of Excellence Scheme in Central Universities, free coaching at UPSC is provided to the youth of SC and OBC categories. Youth from minority communities falling in the OBC category can also avail the benefit of this scheme. For this, the age should be between 21 to 37 years.
How will the selection be done for free coaching?
Candidates are selected for the free coaching scheme of UPSC through an entrance examination. Each university organizes it separately. The questions asked in the entrance exam are equivalent to those of UPSC Prelims.
