Instagram Tips: If the brightness suddenly increases while using Instagram, then this easy method will help you…
While scrolling through photos or reel videos on Instagram, suddenly the brightness of your screen increases. This is not due to any glitch but due to the HDR mode present in Instagram, which suddenly increases the brightness when an HDR video appears in the feed.
HDR mode significantly increases the brightness of the screen to make a scene brighter and more vivid, which can hurt your eyes at night. If you are an Android user then currently you will not be able to disable HDR mode. However, iPhone users can turn off this feature.
Instagram supports HDR video playback in Apple iPhone 12 and newer models. In these models, you can shoot HDR video in Dolby Vision format and upload it to Instagram. All these iPhone models have OLED screens, which support Instagram HDR video playback mode.
How to Turn Off HDR Video Playback Mode in Instagram
Step 1 – To turn off HDR video playback mode, first of all, you have to open your profile on Instagram. Here click on the hamburger menu visible at the top right.
