NEET UG 2024 Cutoff: What is the cutoff for ST/SC and OBC in NEET exam?

NEET UG 2024 Result: The results of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to medical colleges have been declared. There are 67 students in the NEET toppers list who scored 720 out of 720 marks. If we talk about the overall result, then 56.4 percent of the candidates have passed the NEET UG exam.

Why is cutoff important?
Candidates are admitted to medical courses based on NEET score and college cutoff. In such a situation, the cutoff of the NEET exam matters a lot, to the institutes in which admissions are done. They also release their separate cutoffs. This year the cutoff increased due to the long toppers list.

Whose cutoff was how much?
This year the NEET cutoff is 720-164 for General and General-PH category applicants. Let us tell you that last year the same cutoff for the candidates of this category was 720-137. Now let’s talk about the cutoff of the OBC category. This year the cutoff of the OBC category is 163-129 which was 136-107 last year. Similarly, the cutoff of the SC and ST categories has gone up to 163-129 whereas last year the cutoff of both categories was 136-107. The cutoff of the General-EW-PH category is 163-146.

How many candidates from which category
A total of 13 lakh 16 thousand 268 candidates have been successful in the NEET UG result. This includes 11 lakh 65 thousand 904 candidates of UR EWS category. Similarly, this time 1 lakh 769 candidates of the OBC category have been successful. 34 thousand 324 candidates of the SC category have passed the NEET exam. This number is 14 thousand 478 from the AC category. There are 455 candidates from the UR / EWS & PH category. 270 candidates from the OBC & PH category were successful in the NEET exam. 55 candidates from the SC & PH category and 11 candidates from the SC & PH category have also been successful.
