In a heartbreaking incident, a JEE aspirant, Sandeep Kumar, tragically took his own life in Kota, Rajasthan. The young student’s body was discovered hanging in his room by fellow PG residents who quickly alerted the authorities. The police promptly responded, breaking open the door to access the scene. Victim Sandeep Kumar, originally from Nalanda, Bihar, had been residing in Kota for two years, preparing for his JEE examination.
He was found hanging from the fan in his room late one night. The authorities have preserved his body at the New Medical College Hospital. Shockingly, it was revealed that Sandeep’s uncle had deposited money into his account just a day before the incident.
Sandeep’s parents had passed away four years ago and his uncle was bearing the expenses of his studies. He was the one who got him (Sandeep) admitted to the Kota institute, said officials, adding that further probe was on.
Prior to this, a 17-year-old youth preparing for the IIT-JEE competitive exam died by suicide by hanging himself in his room in Kota city in June. Ayush Jaiswal, a resident of Bihar’s Motihari, was staying at a paying guest house near Samrat Chowk in the Mahaveer Nagar area to prepare for the competitive exam. His friends informed the paying guest house owner when he did not come out of his room till Saturday night, police said.
