The Medical Counselling Committee(MCC) is expected to begin the round one registration process for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024 counselling soon. As per media reports, the MCC NEET UG Counselling is likely to begin on July 6.
Aspirants who have registered and qualified the medical entrance examination can apply for the NEET UG 2024 Round 1 Counselling on the official website — mcc.nic.in. The National Testing Agency(NTA) announced the revised rank list on June 30 after issuing the results of the re-test held on June 23.
A total of 67 students had scored a perfect 720, unprecedented in the NTA’s history, with six from a Haryana centre figuring in the list, raising suspicions about irregularities in the examination held on May 5. It has been alleged that grace marks contributed to 67 students sharing the top rank. The number of candidates sharing the top rank in the NEET-UG came down to 61 from 67 in the revised results announced by the NTA.
As of now, MCC has not released a NEET UG Counselling Schedule. Once released, candidates can access the detailed notification and schedule at mcc.nic.in.
The counselling for admission to the seats under the control of State Governments/ UT Administrations / State Universities/ Institutions shall be conducted by the designated authorities of the State Governments as per the notifications issued separately by the authorities concerned.
