AILET 2025 Eligibility Criteria Revised: If you want to study at National Law University, then this is important news for you. National Law University (NLU) Delhi has revised the eligibility criteria for the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2025. Under this, the qualifying percentage has been reduced for LLM (one year) non-residential program and Joint Post Graduate / LLM in Intellectual Property (IP) Law and Management (non-residential).
The revised AILET 2025 eligibility criteria is LLB or equivalent law degree with 50 percent marks against the minimum qualifying marks for admission to LLM (one year) non-residential program. The minimum passing percentage for candidates belonging to SC, ST, and persons with disabilities will be 45 percent. Earlier it was 55 per cent marks for UR category candidates and 50 per cent for reserved categories.
For a Master of Laws (LLM) in Intellectual Property Law and Management, the candidate must have completed an LLB or equivalent degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50 percent marks.
Candidates appearing for the final year annual examination of LLB in the year 2025 will also be eligible to apply for AILET 2025. Announcing the revised criteria, NLU Delhi said that other eligibility criteria for admission to LLM programs will remain unchanged. Application for AILET 2025 started on August 1 and will continue till November 18.
Candidates who wish to apply for AILET 2025 for BA LLB (Hons), BCom LLB (Hons), LLM, and PhD programs can apply through the official website of NLU, Delhi at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.
