Ampere Nexus Electric Scooter Completes K2K Run – Pre-Bookings Open
Ampere’s eagerly awaited Nexus electric scooter has successfully completed its remarkable journey from Kashmir to Kanyakumari (K2K), touching more than 115 towns and cities over a distance of 10,000 km.
Starting on January 16 from Salal Dam, Jammu and Kashmir, and wrapping up today in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, this venture has sparked considerable interest among electric vehicle enthusiasts across India.
The Nexus, which is a step up from the brand’s Primus model, is packed with features aimed at setting new standards in the electric scooter segment. It boasts a large digital display, four riding modes, and an LFP (Lithium Ferrous Phosphate) battery, positioning it as a premium offering in Ampere’s lineup.
Furthermore, the scooter is designed with a keen eye for detail, featuring flush-mounted pillion foot pegs, all-LED lighting, and introducing a front disc brake, a first for Ampere.
What sets the Nexus apart is its claim of a seamless design with no visible nuts or bolts, a detail that has piqued the curiosity of many. Although the final judgment on this claim awaits until a closer inspection, it reflects Ampere’s dedication to innovation and design excellence.
For those eager to get their hands on this Ampere electric scooter, a special K2K edition is available for pre-booking on Ampere’s website for a token amount of Rs 499.
As the current FAME subsidy is set to expire at the end of this month, with a new scheme on the horizon, it’s yet to be determined how the Nexus will be priced in the market upon its launch.
