Application forms have been released for UPSC CSE Mains. In such a situation, prelims pass candidates are eligible to fill this application.
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the application form (DAF-1) for UPSC Civil Service Mains Exam 2024, candidates who have passed the UPSC prelims exam this time can register for the mains exam by visiting the official website upsc.gov.in. or upsconline.nic.in. This DAF form is issued for the candidates who have passed the UPSC prelims.
Register by July 12
Civil Services (Main) Examination 2024 is likely to be conducted from September 20, 2024. The number of vacancies to be filled through the Civil Services Examination 2024 is around 1056. Candidates can register for the main exam till July 12 at 6 pm.
The notification said, “The result of the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2024 held on 16.06.2024 has been declared on 01.07.2024. By the rules of the examination, all these candidates are required to re-apply for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2024 in the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) which is made available on the Union Public Service Commission website ( from 03.07.2024 to 12.07.2024 till 6:00 PM.”

To register for the next stage, it is necessary to fill out the UPSC DAF 1 correctly before the last date. In the UPSC Mains DAF 2024, personal, academic, parental, and work experience details are important. Those who are selected in the UPSC Mains phase will be invited to fill out the second part of this form, i.e. DAF II.

First of all, go to the official website upsconline.nic.in
Then go to ‘DAF for various UPSC examinations’ and click on the DAF-I link.
After this, log in by entering your registration details.
Then fill out the DAF form, upload documents and submit.
Finally download the form and take a printout for future.
