There is news for the candidates waiting to apply for NEST 2024. Registration for the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2024 will start today i.e. March 30. The application process for NEST 2024 will be started on the official website Nestexam.in. Once launched, candidates will be able to apply by visiting the official website.
According to the details received from the official website, candidates will be able to apply for NEST 2024 till May 31, which is the last date for this. Candidates will be able to apply through the steps given below.

- Then register and fill out the application form.

Application fee
Male candidates from the General and Other Backward Class (OBC) categories applying for this will have to pay Rs 1,400 as an application fee. At the same time, SC, ST, disabled, and all women applicants applying for the examination will have to pay Rs 700.
Who is eligible to apply?
Candidates who have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination in 2022, or 2023 or who will appear for Class 12 or equivalent examination in 2024 are eligible to apply. Students must have obtained at least 60% marks (55% for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories, and Disabled candidates) in aggregate or equivalent grades.
The examination will be held in two sessions
NEST Exam 2024 will be conducted in two sessions at 128 exam centers across India – the first session from 9 am to 12:30 pm and the second session from 2:30 pm to 6 pm.
Paper pattern
In this examination, the question paper will be divided into four sections which will include multiple-choice questions on Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each section will have 20 questions for 60 marks. Candidates will be given three marks for each correct answer while one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
