Bigg Boss OTT 3: Ranvir Shorey Opens Up About Difficult Past With Pooja Bhatt, Calls It ‘Biggest Scandal’
Actor Ranvir Shorey is making waves with his participation in Bigg Boss OTT 3, captivating audiences with his candid revelations and engaging personality. In a recent episode, Ranvir opened up about his past relationship with actor-director Pooja Bhatt, calling it the biggest scandal of his life. In a rare and indirect mention, Ranvir described it as the biggest scandal of his life. He recalled his experiences from 2002 while shooting for the film Lakshya in Ladakh. He received a call informing him that his mother was unwell, but he couldn’t leave the set until filming was complete. Around the same time, he was involved in what he called “the biggest scandal” of his life with another actress.
Ranvir shared, “I was unable to cope, so my brother asked me to come to the US with him for a while. I pursued a six-month acting course in the US and borrowed money from my brother. After returning, I started shooting for The Great Indian Comedy Show in 2005.”
While Ranvir didn’t name anyone, many believe he was referring to his past relationship with Pooja Bhatt. They were once close friends that turned romantic, but their relationship ended badly. News reports from the early 2000s mentioned accusations of arguments and violence, which Ranvir has always denied, rejecting claims that he was an alcoholic and abusive lover.
In 2010, Ranvir married actor Konkona Sen Sharma, and they welcomed their son Haroon in 2011. The couple separated in 2015. Meanwhile, Pooja found love with Manish Makhija, also known as Udham Singh, and they got married in 2003. However, they too parted ways in 2014.
Before Ranvir joined Bigg Boss OTT 3, Pooja participated in the last season of the reality show and was one of the finalists.
