The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has invited applications for the posts of Stenographer, Personal Assistant, and Assistant Section Officer under Groups A, B, and C, for which the application process has been started today i.e. 9th September. Through this recruitment, a total of 345 vacant posts will be filled under Groups A, B, and C. The recruitment details as per the post are as follows-

Junior Secretariat Assistant: 78 posts
Stenographer: 19 posts
Assistant Section Officer (ASO): 43 posts
Technical Assistant (Laboratory): 27 posts
Senior Technician: 18 posts
Technician (Electrician/Wireman): 1 post
Assistant Director (Administration & Finance): 1 post
Assistant Director (Marketing & Consumer Affairs): 1 post
Assistant Director Hindi: 1 post
Personal Assistant: 27 posts
Assistant (Computer Aided Design): 1 post

Now you have to register by clicking on Click here for New Registration on the new portal. After this, the candidates have to fill in other details and upload their signatures and photographs. Finally, the candidates should submit the filled form by paying the prescribed fee.
Application fee
The candidates who will apply for the post of Assistant Director in this recruitment will have to pay a fee of Rs 800. Apart from this, candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 550 to fill out the form for all other posts. SC/ST/PH and female candidates can apply for this recruitment free of cost.
