Blackpink member Lisa launches her own artist management company
Blackpink member Lisa has launched her own artist management company, LLOUD. The Money singer made the announcement on her Instagram handle on Thursday, calling it “a platform to showcase my vision in music and entertainment”.
“At LLOUD, our passion as an artist management company is to create experiences that transcend genres and connect generations,” says the platform’s website.
The announcement comes on the heels of the launch of her co-band member Jennie’s venture, OA, in November 2023.
A part of the four-member Blackpink band, Lisa is the first female solo artist in K-pop to win the Best K-pop Artist title for her music video Lalisa at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2022.
With Lisa, Jennie, Rose and Jisoo, Blackpink is widely regarded as the most popular girl band in Korea, leading the Korean Wave along with boy band BTS.
On November 22, 2023, the four Blackpink members were conferred with the title of Honorary Members of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) by King Charles in Buckingham Palace for their role as COP26 Advocates for the United Nations Climate Summit, which was held in Glasgow in 2021.
