BMW R 1300 GSA Revealed: Includes Automatic Clutch and 30-Liter Fuel Capacity
BMW motorcycles, particularly in the GS lineup, often feature the GSA model variant. Among the latest offerings is the BMW R 1300 GSA, built on the new R 1300 platform with several notable enhancements.
Powertrain of BMW R 1300 GSA
The BMW R 1300 GSA is expected to feature a liquid-cooled, horizontally opposed 1300 cc engine, similar to the GS models. This engine is capable of delivering 145 hp at 7,750 rpm and generating 149 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. It also includes BMW’s automated Shift Assistant feature, with manual clutch engagement available when needed.
Fuel Tank Capacity
One of the standout features of the BMW R 1300 GSA is its substantial 30-liter fuel tank, significantly larger than the 11-liter capacity of the standard GS model. This enhancement allows for extended riding without frequent refueling stops. The bike weighs 269 kilograms, which is 32 kilograms heavier than the R 1300 GS and just one kilogram more than the R 1250 GSA.
Variants Available
The BMW R 1300 GSA is offered in four variants: Standard, Triple Black, GS Trophy, and Option 719 Karakoram. Each variant comes equipped with four riding modes and includes safety features like engine brake control, hill-hold assist, and radar-assisted systems.
Pricing Details
In India, the ex-showroom price of the BMW R 1300 GS is set at approximately 20.95 lakh rupees. Compared to its predecessor, the R 1250 GSA, which sells for around 22.50 lakh rupees, the R 1300 GSA offers a competitive pricing within this premium range.
