Bookings Open For Bandra Terminus Mumbai-Palitana Samvatsari Special Train; Service Begins On Sep 6 – Check Routes, Timings
The bookings for the Bandra Terminus – Palitana Samvatsari Special Train, which was launched by the Western Railway (WR) to meet the increased travel demand on the route during the festive season, started on Wednesday.
Bookings for the special train opened today (September 4) at 6: PM and tickets can be booked at all PRS counters offline as well as on the IRCTC website, Indian Railways officials announced.

The Bandra Terminus – Palitana Samvatsari Special Train features AC 3-Tier, Sleeper, and General Second Class coaches to cater to the various categories of passengers, the WR informed.
Mumbai Police imposes traffic restrictions around Bandra
Meanwhile, in related news, the Mumbai traffic police has issued traffic restrictions around the Mount Mary Church in Bandra west ahead of the annual fair beginning Sunday.
These restrictions will remain in place till September 16, officials said.
The Mount Mary Fair will be celebrated in Bandra area where lakhs of devotees will visit the church, said an official, adding that during this period, the Mount Mary Road will be closed for all types of vehicles, except vehicles of local residents who have been issued with car passes by police and emergency vehicles, from 6 am to 11 am
Kane Road shall be one way for all types of vehicles from its junction with Mount Mary Road to its junction. Pereira Road will be one way, and St John Baptista Road shall be closed for all vehicular traffic except for local residents issued with special passes.
Parking or halting of all types of vehicles except for the immediate purpose of picking up or getting down passengers shall be banned on both sides of Mount Mary Road, Pereira Road, Kane Road, Hill Road, Carmel Road, Chapel Road, John Baptista Road, St Sebastian Road, Rebello Road, Peter Dias Road and Paul Road, official added.
