Bosco Martis on choregraphing Shah Rukh Khan: ‘He simply surrenders and gives his best.’

Ahead of the release of Siddharth Anand’s Fighter in theaters, Bosco Martis, who, along with partner Caesar Gonsalves, choreographed ‘Sher Khul Gaye’ and ‘Ishq Jaisa Kuch’, opened up about not receiving credit for the songs in a social media post.

In December, after their names were omitted from the film’s poster, he called out the makers for not crediting him for the song.

While speaking to Siddharth Kannan, he talked about Siddharth being upset about his post. ‘It was his film, so I can understand why he must have felt sad that I spoke up, despite them mentioning my name on Instagram. But that is not enough,’ said Bosco, who, along with Caesar, has choreographed songs in over 75 films.

He continued, ‘Unko aisa lagta hoga ki Bosco ko abhi awaaz nahin uthani chahiye thi, but I strongly believed ki abhi awaaz nahin uthaunga toh there will be no voice to this (Siddharth may have felt that it wasn’t necessary to speak up then, but I believe it was time I raised my voice).
