BYD Introduces Groundbreaking Hybrid Technology with Over 2000 km Driving Range

Top electric car maker BYD (Build Your Dreams) has been working on robust hybrid technology for quite some time now. Finally, the Chinese manufacturing automotive giant has developed the technology and unveiled it globally. It is reported that the newly announced hybrid tech offers an impressive driving range of over 2,000 km. It also reduces fuel consumption. It claims to use just 2.9 liters per 100 km on a depleted battery.

The company already uses the technology on its tech-loaded models Kin L and Seal 06. Vehicles with the latest hybrid tech have been launched in the international market, with a starting price of $13,775. The brand claims that the latest hybrid technology allows consumers to save up to $1,362 annually compared to pure fuel models.

Meanwhile, BYD is making efforts to spread its roots in the Indian market as well. The company recently launched an electric model called Seal. It is Rs. 41 lakhs, while the top model is priced at Rs. 53 lakh (all ex-showroom) up to Rs.
