CTET 2024: Today is the last day of registration for the CTET exam of the July session, fill out and submit the form immediately from this link.
CBSE CTET July 2024: CBSE Board is going to end the application process for the CTET exam of the July session today. Interested candidates, who have not applied yet, should immediately register by visiting the official website.
CTET July 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education is going to close the registration window for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test for the July session today. All the candidates who have not yet registered should immediately visit the official website ctet.nic.in and fill out and submit their application form. CBSE will conduct the CTET exam on July 07, 2024.
Candidates who qualify for Paper 1 and Paper 2 of the CTET exam will be eligible for teaching jobs for classes 1 to 5 and 6 to 8 respectively. Students who qualify for CTET 2024 will be eligible for teaching jobs in central government-run schools such as Kendriya Vidyalayas and schools in Chandigarh, Delhi, Daman and Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Andaman and Nicobar, and other Union Territories.
Application fee
Candidates applying for only one paper will have to pay a fee of Rs 1,000 and those applying for both papers will have to pay Rs 1,200. However, SC, ST, and PWD category candidates will be given a 50% relaxation in the application fee. Disabled candidates will be given an additional 50 minutes for each paper.
Paper pattern
CTET 2024 Paper 1 and 2 will have 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Paper 1 will have five sections – Child Development and Pedagogy, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Language 1 and Language 2. There will be 30 questions in each section. Paper 2 will also have five sections – Child Development and Pedagogy, Studies, Language 1 and Language 2, Mathematics and Science or Social Science (60 questions).
CTET certificate will be valid for a lifetime. There is no restriction on how many attempts a person can make. Those who have qualified for CTET can also re-appear for the exam to improve their score.
