New Delhi: A day after the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) leader Nafe Singh Rathee was gunned down by a group of assailants in Haryana’s Jhajjar district, a CCTV footage has emerged where the attackers could be seen travelling in a Hyundai car before committing the crime.
The video also show the four accused returning in the same case.
Another INLD worker, who was present in the car with Rathee died after suffering bullet injuries in the attack. Three private gunmen, whom Rathee had hired for security, suffered injuries.
As per the details, Rathee’s car had stopped at a railway crossing at around 5pm on Sunday when the killers, who had come in a car, stopped and opened indiscriminate firing at Ratheeās vehicle. Reports sat at least 30 rounds were fired by four assailants. Doctors at the hospital said that Rathee had suffered injuries in neck, stomach, spine and thigh and suffered heavy blood loss.
