Delhi-Dehradun Expressway Opening In November- Check Details On Route Map With All Entry And Exit Points

Delhi-Dehradun Expressway: In a piece of good news for the residents of Delhi, the first leg of the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway, extending from Akshardham up to the Eastern Peripheral Expressway (EPE), is expected to be up and running for the public by November. This fresh 32-kilometer stretch, which comprises an impressive 19 kilometers of high-road, sets out to ease the routine traffic turmoil confronted by folks commuting between Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.

The expressway has been thoughtfully designed with a six-lane service road for local activities, along with an elevated lane for streamlined long-route transit.

“The traffic flow on the service road will also improve as the entire stretch is being improved by the NHAI as part of the project. Dividing the traffic will also provide relief to local commuters,” an official was quoted as saying by media reports.

Delhi-Dehradun Expressway: Entry Point Details

The expressway from Delhi to Uttar Pradesh also boasts seven access routes heading in that direction: Akshardham, Geeta Colony, Shamshan Ghat (Kailash Nagar), Sonia Vihar, Vijay Vihar, and Mandola. Furthermore, you can leave the freeway at Mandola, Sonia Vihar, Vijay Vihar, and Khajuri Chowk.

Moreover, the traffic going from Uttar Pradesh to Delhi is expected to enter at Mandola, Vijay Vihar and 5th Pushta. And exit at Mandola, Loni, Vijay Vihar, Usmanpur, Shamshan Ghat (Kailash Nagar), Geeta Colony and Akshardham. Travelers entering and exiting the expressway in Delhi will not have to pay toll.
