DU To Offer B.Tech Admissions Without JEE; Check Seat Allocation, Admission Charges, Eligibility Criteria
Delhi University (DU) offers a diverse array of B.Tech programs, usually requiring candidates to pass the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains for admission.
However, some B.Tech programs at DU, such as the B.Tech in Information Technology and Mathematical Innovation, do not require a JEE Mains scorecard. Instead, applicants can acquire admission to these courses by taking the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) exam
. The Cluster Innovation Center of Delhi University administers the B.Tech in Information Technology and Mathematical Innovation program.
Allocation of Seats
In the Cluster Innovation Center of DU, there are a total of 50 seats allocated for B.Tech Information Technology and Mathematical Innovation courses. Among these, 20 seats are designated for the unreserved category, 7 for SC, 4 for ST, 14 for OBC, and 5 for the economically backward (EWS) minority category.
Tuition Fee and Admission Charges
The tuition fee for B.Tech Information Technology (IT) and Mathematical Innovation (MI) at DU’s Cluster Innovation Center is Rs 5000 per semester, which is comparatively lower than that of most engineering colleges.

Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for admission to these courses requires candidates to have passed Class 12 with a Science stream, including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for undergraduate programs across central and private universities is conducted annually.
This nationwide test began on March 11 and will end on March 28, administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) through computer-based mode.
