East Bengal fans unhappy with Felicio Brown As The New Signing Fails To Impress Since Goal On Debut

East Bengal signed Felicio Brown Forbes before the second half of the ISL 2023-24 started. After missing their first match after the international break against Mohun Bagan, he made his debut against NorthEast United in the next game.

He started his journey at the club with a goal in his debut match. However, since then, he has not contributed by either scoring or assisting in the next four matches and the fans are getting impatient.

East Bengal fans have taken to social media to express their unhappiness. One fan wrote on Twitter, “Captaining Felicio Brown ahead of Petratos was one of the worst decisions one could make! Differential gone very bad.”

Another fan left a sarcastic comment expressing a rather brave commitment, saying, “Not Tweeting anything regarding East Bengal till Felicio Brown scores a goal.” However, some fans are still willing to give him some more time to Brown.

One fan defended him by saying, “People should understand Felicio Brown is a No 9, not a number 10. He is only effective when he gets the proper supply inside the box. Give him time. He has already shown some spark.

Felicio Brown has appeared in all matches for East Bengal so far after making his debut. In his first match, he came on as a substitute and scored the second goal for the Red and Gold Brigade in the 82nd minute of the game.

Thereafter, he came off the bench in another match and started in three other matches. His performance has not been the most impressive. Fans had high hopes when East Bengal brought the player after losing two players in the winter transfer window.

However, Felicio hasn’t been able to help much in that regard. His first match against NorthEast United ended in a defeat. Since then, they have lost two more matches and won two. It has left them in 8th place in the table. Hence, it’s no wonder the fans are unhappy.
