Exclusive : Harshvardhan Rane on box office failure of ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’
Harshvardhan Rane, who is gearing up for the release of his film ‘Dange’ which will also feature Ehan Bhatt and Nikita Dutta, recently shared his thoughts on the underwhelming performance of his film, ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’.
According to Rane, the film didn’t resonate with the audience as expected, attributing its lackluster box office results to the audience’s reluctance to visit theaters.
In an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, Rane mentioned, “The audiences keep asking ‘when will part 2 of ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ come ?’. All I could tell them was that, because they didn’t buy the tickets and watch the film in theatres, that’s why part 2 never got made. I have written this in the flyers too, which I distributed during ‘Dange’ promotion. Only when the audiences watch our films in theatres are we encouraged to make films.”
