Ferrari To Lamborghini: Supercars Worth Over Rs 60 Crore Seized From Tobacco Tycoon’s Delhi Home

The Income Tax Department has seized multiple luxury cars in raids on the property of a Kanpur-based tobacco company owner in Delhi. This list of cars seized in the raids includes ultra-luxurious and expensive models from brands like Rolls Royce, Porsche, and Lamborghini all bearing the 4018 number plates.

As per reports, the collective value of all the vehicles seized is estimated to be Rs 60 crores.

The Income Tax Department conducted a series of raids on Kanpur-based Banshidhar Tobacco Company and discovered a possibility of financial manipulations in the records. These raids were part of an operation conducted by fifteen to twenty teams across five states and twenty locations covering Delhi, Kanpur, Mumbai, and cities in Gujarat. As per reports, the investigation also hints towards hidden assets in the form of gold and cash.

The IT department found a Rolls Royce Phantom worth around Rs 16 crore at Shivam Mishra’s home in Delhi’s Vasant Vihar. Meanwhile, there were other vehicles such as the Porsche Cayenne, Lamborghini Urus, and McLaren 720s among others.

Banshidhar Tobacco Private Limited is one of the big names in the tobacco industry and is a supplier of products for major pan masala groups. Based on various reports, the company reported an income of Rs 20 to Rs 25 crore while the actual turnover was multiple folds more than the reported amount.
