GATE 2024: IISc Issues Warning Against Scam And Fraudulent Emails
Candidates for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 have been warned by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bangalore not to fall for phishing emails and frauds.
Four email addresses have been identified which could be sharing false information with candidates. Aspirants can check the details at goaps.iisc.ac.in.
The fake email IDs are governmentofindiaministryofedu@gmail.com, examgraduateaptitudetestinengi@gmail.com, gatescorecardgraduateaptitude@gmail.com, and bangaloreiiscindiainstuteof@gmail.com.
“Beware of scam and phishing emails about GATE coming from these emails,” the GATE 2024 official page posted on X, which includes a list of four websites mentioning the names of GATE, IISc, and the Education Minister.
The GATE 2024 aptitude test was held on February 3, 4, 10 and 11, 2024. The institute has issued the answer keys along with master question papers. GATE 2024 results are expected to be announced on March 16 and scorecards will be released on March 23. For more details, candidates are advised to check the GATE official website.
