Hardik Pandya back in action, leads team in Mumbai T20 tournament ahead of IPL 2024
Hardik Pandya has made a sensational return to the playing field on February 26 as he captains the Reliance 1 side in the DY Patil T20 tournament.
Hardik has been out of action since suffering an injury during the ODI World Cup 2023 match against Bangladesh. The all-rounder was forced to miss the remainder of the tournament as India lost the final to Australia.
Ahead of the IPL 2024 auction, Hardik was traded from Gujarat Titans back to Mumbai Indians. The all-rounder would also go on to be named as the new skipper of the five-time IPL Champions, replacing Rohit Sharma.
Hardik has been stepping up his recovery from injury in the past few weeks, and the all-rounder has kept the fans posted with videos on social media. Hardik is now fully fit and back into the thick of things in the DY Patil tournament.
