Haryana: After Delhi, Punjab, now this state announces summer holidays, schools will be closed from tomorrow
Delhi had announced summer vacation in all its government and recognized schools on May 11, now Haryana, the state adjacent to Delhi NCR, has also announced summer vacation in all the schools of its state. According to the information, the Haryana government has announced summer holidays in all schools from tomorrow, May 28, that is, all government and private schools across the state will remain closed from May 28 to June 30. The Directorate of School Education Department has asked teachers to ensure that they give homework to students during the holiday today, May 27.
Notice issued
The government has issued a notice giving this information. According to the official notice, “Concerning the above subject, in continuation of the department’s letter number 2/2-2023 ACD (12) dated 17.05.2024, you are informed that summer vacation in all the schools (government and private) of the state. Vacation) is declared. All schools will remain closed during the said period from 28.05.2024 to 30.06.2024. Apart from this, all the teachers will also ensure to give holiday homework to the students today on 27.05.2024”
When will schools open?
The directorate said that schools will be reopened as usual from July 1. In the notice, district heads have been requested to ensure compliance with this order in all schools. Due to the recent extreme heat, all government, government-aided, and private schools in Gurugram have been ordered to be closed from May 27 to May 31. Summer vacations in Gurugram schools will be from June 1 to June 30 and classes will resume from July 1.
