Amit Mishra made his international debut in 2003 during an ODI match against South Africa. In Test cricket, Mishra earned his first call-up in the 2008 series against Australia. Two years later, he represented India for the first time in T20I cricket. Mishra made his T20I debut against Zimbabwe in June 2010. In international cricket, he was last seen in action in a T20I game against England in February 2017.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma is currently leading the Indian cricket team in all three formats of the game. Rohit is now all set to lead Team India in the upcoming T20 World Cup in West Indies and USA. Rohit is currently involved in the ongoing edition of IPL 2024, plying his trade for five-time champions Mumbai Indians. In his last IPL outing, Rohit Sharma managed to score four runs against Lucknow Super Giants. Batting first at Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, Mumbai Indians scored 144 runs for the loss of seven wickets.

During the run chase, Lucknow Super Giants all-rounder Marcus Stoinis scored a brilliant half-century to lead the hosts to a four-wicket win. Stoinis scored 62 off 45 balls as the hosts made the winning run with four balls to spare. “It was a pleasure to bowl with the new ball. As someone who is not fast, I can try to shape the ball. Didn’t expect to bowl three in the Powerplay but good to bowl. I thought the wicket was fine. We knew it would be slow. We could have pushed the envelope and scored a little quicker. If that partnership had been for 8-10 more balls, we could have done it more easily,” Marcus Stoinis, who was adjudged the player of the match, said at the post-match presentation ceremony.

With 12 points from 10 games, Lucknow Super Giants are now third in the IPL 2024 standings. In their next match, the KL Rahul-led side will take on second-placed Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday, May 5.
