Officer Olga Bobadila said that the incident happened late on Sunday night on a potholed road. The bus fell into a gorge about 200 meters (about 650 feet) deep.
There were more than 50 passengers on the bus
According to the information, more than 50 passengers were traveling on this bus. In the accident, the bus fell on the river bank and some people traveling in it were swept away in the water. Municipal Corporation Officer Jaime Herrera said that after receiving information about the accident, rescue workers and firefighters reached the accident site, from where the injured were taken to the hospital.
