IIM To Close CAT 2024 Registration Today: If you have not yet applied for the Common Admission Test 2024, then fill out the form immediately. Today i.e. Friday, 20 September 2024 is the last date to apply for the CAT exam. Also, know that the last date to apply for the CAT exam has been extended once, today is the last chance to fill out the form under the extended last date. To fill out the form, you have to visit the official website of IIM, whose address is – iimcat.ac.in.

To apply for the CAT exam, general category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 2400. The fee for SC, ST and PH category candidates is Rs 1200.
As far as eligibility is concerned, candidates who have done Bachelors from a recognized university can apply. The exam will be conducted on 24 November 2024. Know the important details related to the exam pattern.
CAT Syllabus
Talking about the exam pattern, a total of 66 questions will come in this exam from three sections – Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Ability. If we talk about weightage, then Verbal Ability section has been given 10, Reading Comprehension 24, Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation 30 and Quantitative Ability 34 weightage.
40 minutes for each section
Candidates will be given 40 minutes to solve each section. On the other hand, PH category candidates will get 10 minutes extra and they can solve one section in 50 minutes. Also know that all sections will be given by the system. You can go to the next only after completing one section.
Admit card will be released on this day
The admit card for CAT exam will be released on November 5, a few days before the exam. It can also be downloaded from the website mentioned above. It would be better to keep checking the official website from time to time to get detailed information about this and to stay aware of the updates.
There are degree and diploma courses
After passing the CAT exam, candidates can not only take admission in MBA i.e. Masters program but can also take admission in PG Diploma program. This score is also used to take admission in Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies.
