Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT Madras) has invited applications for its newly launched Program for Working Professionals in E-Mobility (WEMEM). Interested and eligible candidates can apply for it through the official website code.iitm.ac.in/emobility. Candidates can apply for this on or before 26th May. This program is offered by IIT Madras Center for Outreach and Digital Education (CODE) in coordination with their Department of Engineering Design.
Who will apply for this course of IIT?
Candidates applying for this course must have B.Tech or BE degree in any engineering discipline with minimum 6.0 CGPA or 60 percent marks. Also, candidates should have at least two years of work experience.
This is how you will get admission in IIT
Candidates will have to appear in a computer based written test on Fundamental Mathematics and Physics Principles. Candidates will be provided recorded videos and sample questions to prepare for the exam.
Application fee and course fee will have to be paid
Candidates who are applying for this course of IIT Madras will have to pay Rs 3000 as application fee. Also, according to the official website, the total fee of the course is Rs 8.57 lakh.
Other information
Candidates should note that there is no limit on the number of candidates taking admission in this course. The syllabus for the candidates has been uploaded on the official website. There are 3 sessions in a year in January, May and September. Each term will consist of 12 weeks of course work, after which final examinations will be held. To obtain the Master’s degree, participants are required to complete 190 academic credits, which includes 105 credits of course work (comprising theory and lab courses with a mini project) and 85 credits of project work.
